Beauty Sassy covers skincare, makeup, fashion and lifestyle. It started from a simple irritation: most advice is written to sell the next thing. We would rather you understood what you need first, then bought fewer, better things.

The Skin Read is the start of that. One photo, a plain description of what's visible, and a routine described by product type, so you can choose at any price point.

How we write

• We only feature products we'd buy ourselves, and say who each one suits and who should skip it.
• No brand pays to be in a story, and no brand reads a story before it's published.
• We say when the evidence is thin.
• We never give medical advice. When something needs a dermatologist, we say so.

How we're funded

The site is free. It's paid for by advertising and by affiliate links: when a story links to a product and you buy through that link, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price is the same for you.

Commissions never decide what we feature, and every story with affiliate links says so at the top. Advertisers and retailers don't see or shape what we write, and the Skin Read never shares your photo with them.
